First Six Weeks of our Mission

We are learning in Nauvoo

I am going to try to post something here but still don't know how to choose a background and make this really exciting so bear with me. We left on our mission on March 2nd, 2012 about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The car was packed to the roof but surprisingly we got most things in. It was kinda hard to drive out of the driveway and say good-bye but knew that this was the right decision.

As I look at these pictures now of our home taken in January it is hard to believe that it can be so cold or snowy and also hard to picture that it is spring now.

And then we stopped at Winter Quarters Visitors Center and the Temple there on our way to Nauvoo. The Temple is in the background behind the cemetary.

My garden on May 8th, - is much prettier now and we've eaten a few tomatoes!

A carriage normally stored behind the Lyon Drug Store - the Elders were putting it away and let us have our pictures taken in it when we were working there that day.
